Episode 6: Why we resist talking about periods and how we can change that
There are many reasons why we find it hard to bring up the conversation around periods. We find resistance within ourselves and how we feel about our own periods, we find resistance from our daughters, and even resistance from our husbands or the fathers of our daughters. Regardless of this resistance, I know that we want our daughters to feel more open towards their periods and menstrual cycle, and to know they can come to us for these conversations. So, how do we move through this resistance.
On this episode I talk about the ways in which we can move through this resistance to give our girls the best introduction to periods we can.
